The Juilliard School is presenting VINCENT PERSICHETTI (1915-1987) – A Centennial Tribute on Tuesday, October 20, 2015. There will be a pre-concert panel at 7:00 pm followed by a concert of music by Vincent Persichetti at 8:00 pm. Both events will take place in Paul Hall. Peter Schickele will serve as the moderator for the panel that will include Philip Glass, Elena Ruehr, Larry Alan Smith and Robert Taub. The performers for the concert will include the Blue Hill Quartet, pianist Jennifer Chu, pianist Mirian Conti, organist Ryan Kennedy, violist Milan Milisavljević and trumpeter Theodore Van Dyck.
